Sky River Casino in Elk Grove, California, will be the first venue to debut Aristocrat Gaming’s newest slot title, Chief Inferno, later this month.

The launch marks another addition to Aristocrat’s long-running Chief series, which remains popular in casinos across the U.S.

    New mechanics and features

Chief Inferno brings back signature multiplier stacks while adding enhanced gold coin bonuses and a new bonus meter mechanic.

The game builds on elements of the original Chief titles, known for their fast-paced play and rewarding multipliers.

Sky River Casino loyalty members will be among the first to try the game at a special Free Slot Pull and Drawing on August 28.

    Casino leaders highlight expansion

Michael J. Facenda, President of Sky River Casino, said the addition underscores the property’s commitment to offering fresh experiences.

“We’re thrilled to introduce the new, high-energy slot game, Chief Inferno,” Facenda said.

“We continue to lead the way in Northern California when it comes to adding exciting, Las Vegas-style gaming options for our guests.”

Aristocrat Gaming Chief Revenue Officer Kurt Gissane echoed that sentiment.

“The Chief game family continues to grow and we’re pleased to partner with Sky River to introduce the all-new Chief Inferno,” Gissane said.

    Aristocrat’s U.S. growth push

The launch comes during a period of expansion for Aristocrat’s North American business.

In July, the company rolled out its PlayerMax mobile app, cardless payment solution, and other systems products at Cliff Castle Casino in Arizona.

It also signed a six-year deal with the Michigan Lottery to provide its full iLottery suite starting in 2026.

Beyond new systems, Aristocrat has deepened partnerships to expand branded game content.

Earlier this month, it joined with Hasbro and other suppliers to develop new licensed titles.

    Revenue momentum

The company has continued to see financial growth alongside product launches.

For the first quarter of 2025, Aristocrat reported AU$3.3 billion (US$2.15 billion) in revenue, up 9% year-on-year.

The introduction of Chief Inferno at Sky River highlights Aristocrat’s efforts to push fresh content into regional casinos, aiming to reinforce its dominance in both land-based and digital markets.
