The PFL will utilise ProhiBet’s technology to bolster sports integrity and ensure adherence to state-specific betting regulations.
The collaboration is aimed at preventing PFL personnel, such as athletes and coaches prohibited from placing bets, from engaging in wagering on the league’s events.
ProhiBet will leverage its cross-monitoring and notification platform to accomplish this.
Matt Heap, managing director of ProhiBet, expressed his satisfaction with the agreement, highlighting the joint effort to reinforce compliance within sports betting.

ProhiBet is a collaboration between US Integrity and Odds On Compliance. US Integrity provides wagering monitoring services to sports stakeholders, while Odds On Compliance is a consultancy firm specialised in compliance technology for sports betting and gaming.
Launched in February 2023, ProhiBet represents the inaugural offering from the Secure Sports Solutions joint venture.
In August, the Big 12 Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association became one of the earliest adopters of ProhiBet.
This move was described as part of a dual strategy to fortify oversight of sports betting, alongside increased control over the distribution of Big 12 data.
The PFL’s partnership with ProhiBet follows the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) confirming a comparable arrangement earlier this year.
In another development connecting combat sports with betting, the UFC recently disclosed that online gambling operator Stake will become its latest sponsorship partner.
Stake and UFC will collaborate to enhance the betting experience for the organisation’s events, offering promotions and VIP experiences.
Additionally, exclusive content featuring UFC athletes like Israel Adesanya, Stake’s inaugural brand ambassador, will be provided.
Stake recently assumed the role of sole title sponsor for Sauber Group’s Formula One team, securing an exclusive deal covering the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
Having commenced as a co-title sponsor last year, the team was known as Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake throughout the 2023 campaign.
