Hard Rock International has revealed plans for a new luxury hospitality development in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
The Hard Rock Hotel & Residences Ras Al Khaimah is scheduled to open in 2028 and will feature 300 hotel rooms and 395 branded residences.
Additional amenities will include restaurants, rooftop bars, a beach club, conference space, and wellness facilities.
The project marks Hard Rock’s continued expansion in the Middle East, following announcements of new properties in Europe and North America.
Joint Venture Targets UAE’s Rising Tourism Sector
The development is being spearheaded by Malta-based Db Group in partnership with local developer RAK Hospitality Holding (RAKHH).
It will be located near Al Marjan Island in the Beach District of Ras Al Khaimah, an area known for its natural beauty and growing appeal to tourists.
“This is not just another hotel development; it’s a catalyst for the sustained, high-quality growth that positions Ras Al Khaimah as a serious contender in the luxury and lifestyle hospitality space,” said Alison Grinnell, CEO of RAKHH.
Hard Rock Sees Opportunity in the Region
Todd Hricko, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Hotel Development at Hard Rock, emphasized the strategic importance of this expansion.
“This development will open new doors for the Hard Rock global traveller in a destination with rich history and nature to explore,” he said.
The project aligns with broader efforts to attract international visitors and upscale travelers to the UAE’s northern emirates.
Global Growth Strategy Continues
Hard Rock International is also working on a hotel in Portugal’s Algarve region, in partnership with Mercan Properties.
These developments reflect the company’s ongoing push to strengthen its global footprint in high-potential tourism markets.
As the UAE continues to diversify its economy and promote luxury tourism, the addition of the Hard Rock brand could further elevate Ras Al Khaimah’s profile on the international stage.
