On February 1st, Stian Hornsletten, a co-founder of EveryMatrix, is set to take on a new role within the company.
With a long-standing history at EveryMatrix, Hornsletten’s journey began when he assumed the position of CEO at the company’s inception in 2008.
Over the years, he held various executive positions, including executive chairman and executive director, before taking on the role of COO in November 2019.
Before joining EveryMatrix, Hornsletten co-founded BetonBet in January 2001.
EveryMatrix CEO, Ebbe Groes, expressed his gratitude for Hornsletten’s pivotal role in establishing the company, stating, “If it wasn’t for Stian, there would not be an EveryMatrix, and I’ll be forever grateful to him for asking me to join him for a drink to discuss the idea of starting this business together 15 years ago.”
Groes added that Hornsletten’s new challenge is to enhance the company’s games offering, a task he believes Hornsletten is well-suited for, given his extensive experience.
Groes anticipates that Hornsletten will bring “enormous energy, innovation, and passion” to the team.
Meanwhile, EveryMatrix has also made another significant appointment this week, welcoming Nikolina Gabelica as the new head of lottery.
Gabelica joins the company with over two decades of experience, having worked at the Croatian Lottery for more than 20 years.
Her most recent role at the lottery was as the director of the business development and marketing division.
Gabelica expressed her excitement about her new position, stating, “My 20-plus years of lottery and gaming experience fits perfectly with EveryMatrix, offering a diverse perspective that I will use to focus on strategies for both existing and new WLA member organizations and lottery clients.”
She emphasized EveryMatrix’s modular, API-driven solutions, which she believes are ideal for global lotteries seeking to establish or expand their digital presence.
With these strategic appointments, EveryMatrix aims to strengthen its leadership team and further enhance its offerings in the gaming and lottery sectors.
The company also teased that it will soon announce its new COO, indicating continued growth and development in the near future.
